The Galaxy Music Awards encourages our Voting Members to educate themselves on the GMA voting process each year as they prepare to cast their ballots when GMA voting opens.
To help guide Voting Members through the GMA voting process, we’ve put together a thorough and informative guide outlining for all key dates, deadlines and voting guidelines to know this year. There are ways to become eligible to vote for GMA winners, here’s everything you need to know about First Round Voting for the GMA’s.
Professional Members
Professional members must prove that their primary career is in direct support of music creators. (E.g. Label executives, managers, booking agents, etc.)
Get TWO strong recommendations from fellow music industry peers. Recommendations are submitted online and can be made by current Recording Academy members or Non-members
Music industry professionals whose majority of business activity is directly related to the recording, live performance, or music video industries.
Associate Members
Creative – Technical Professionals in the music industry, who do not have the required credits or documentation for voting membership.
Music Academy Graduates or Technical training institutions.
Major or minor in music, Entertainment or Music business.

As the only peer-recognized music award, voting members are a key part of the GMA Awards process.
Members can submit their eligible releases for GMA consideration.
Voting members also get to vote in the GMA Awards process. Voting members, receive regular GMA Awards updates and access to purchase tickets to the Awards.
ADVOCACY & PUBLIC POLICY
Sharing a common passion for the betterment of the music industry, the GMAs frequently mobilizes members by raising awareness and taking action around public policy and other advocacy programs.

ELIGIBILITY:
Members’ participation is open to every region, country or continent worldwide.
AGE:
Participants are to be of age and must have a detailed knowledge and understanding of the Music Industry.
